FOR MORE INFO: www.fnbtechhackathon.comWHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?On 8 & 9 May 2017, over 100 students will gather at SMU to hack out their next tech start-up for the F&B industry at the inaugural F&B Tech Hackathon 2017, brought to you by Restaurant Association of Singapore!Over close to 48 crazy hours, aspiring youth entrepreneurs will team up to brainstorm and design a tech-based product, validate their business idea, and pitch to a panel of judges comprising representatives from the F&B industry.To spice things up, we'll be having some special activities:Learning journeys to F&B outletsGuest speakers from the F&B industryRoving facilitators to help with your prototypes WHO IS THIS FOR?All IHL students, whether you're in business or science, design or humanities. If you're interested to start your own F&B establishment, or if you're just curious about technology, then this is the event for you. We're open to teams forming before the event, but you could also sign-up as an individual to from a team on the morning of Day 1. Hackathons are specially designed to embrace diversity, creating a conducive environment for anyone to turn their prototypes into companies.
