Campus Community Mobility Hackathon: Shape the future with new ideas! WHAT? | A HACKATHON? A hackathon is an event in which participants with different kinds of expertise come together to solve challenges and generate creative software, business or design solutions within a short time span. You will find a team and build your vision of the future by developing your own prototype or business model to pitch it to the crowd and compete for the prizes.   WHO? | ATTENDEES Not only do you have the chance to show what you can do, but the day also offers you the opportunity to exchange ideas with like-minded people and make new contacts! We will have a lot of fun, get to know inspiring people and acquire new knowledge and skills. Developers, creative thinkers, planners, designers and visionaries from all industries and fields are welcome to join the competition to create the best digital solution within these two days. You can sign up alone or bring your team with you.    HOW? | AGENDA After presentation of the challenge teams of 3 are put together in project groups to work together on a new, innovative solution. Diversity is encouraged, so open up and try out working interdisciplinary. Give yourself a cool team name and off you go with your project! Food, snacks and drinks will be provided during the two days. There is the possibility of overnight stay on site (sleeping bag!). For breaks there are corners for you to chill out and have some coffeine intake if needed. At the end of the event weekend you will have the opportunity to present your project to a jury and all participants. The three first-placed teams will receive a total of €1,000 in prize money and other prizes.   Don't forget to bring your laptop, phone and chargers, they are vital to work on your solutions as you might realize. PwC is looking for students who can implement creative ideas! Exchange ideas with us over a cold mate tea and prepare yourself for your next career step. Together with your team, you have two days to develop a solution for real challenges and introduce your prototype to our jury. The theme of the hackathon are APIs and the question of how they innovatively influence the areas of banking, IoT, logistics and healthcare. Experts from PwC will be there to help and advise you. This three-day coding event, which starts on Monday, 25 November 2019, is a unique opportunity for you to work closely with IT and risk management experts from the ECB and other EU central banks. Students who have knowledge of or experience in data masking, machine learning, or developing application programming interfaces (APIs) or front-end user interfaces are encouraged to apply to take part. You will work as part of a team to develop a cutting-edge dashboard designed to monitor financial risks. Teams will present solutions to one of the four challenges set out below. On the final day of the event a panel of judges will decide which team has produced the best solution to each of the challenges.

Von Freitag 14:00 Uhr bis Samstag 20:00 Uhr werden verschiedene Teams die digitalen Challenges unserer Partner aus der lokalen Wirtschaft lösen und am Partyabend ihre Lösungen um das Preisgeld vor der Jury pitchen. Aufgerufen sind alle Programmierer, Entwickler, IT-Profis, Studenten, Schüler, Technikinteressierte, Kreative, Innovatoren, Businessdeveloper, Marketingexperten, Vertriebler, Designer, Grafiker, UX-Spezialisten, Gründungsinteressierte… Du kannst alleine kommen oder dein Team mitbringen. Nach Präsentation der Challengethemen stellen Teilnehmer ihre Lösungsidee vor und die Teams (bis max. 5 Personen) finden sich in Projektgruppen zusammen. In interdisziplinären Teams treffen verschiedene Skills und Professionen zusammen und ergänzen sich gegenseitig für eine neue, innovative Lösung. Kreative, Coder, Gestalter arbeiten gemeinsam!   Gebt euch einen coolen Teamnamen und los gehts mit eurem Projekt! Während der beiden Tage ist für Verpflegung mit Essen, Snacks und Getränken gesorgt.Es gibt die Möglichkeit der Übernachtung vor Ort (Schlafsack!). Für Pausen gibt es für euch Ecken zum Chillen und weitere Entspannungsangebote. Unsere Challenge-Partner:  Unsere Challengepartner aus der regionalen Wirtschaft formulieren reale Aufgabenstellungen aus der Praxis, für die du mit deinem Team eine Lösung erarbeiten sollst. Dazu bringen unsere Partner echte Daten, Softwareframeworks und Tools mit, die du während des Hackathons benutzen kannst.
