All you Android techies! Come along to the Android Summit 2016 -- a two-day multi-track conference focused on designing, developing and testing for Android. This is AngelHack’s 9th Global Hackathon Series. The Challenge is Simple. AngelHack’s nonprofit arm, Code For A Cause, is challenging superhero coders to build a technology that will have a positive impact on the world, people, or environment. No matter your age or skill level, just come and create projects that are innovative, and have the potential to improve or influence people’s lives. Build a hack that people can use, enjoy, and potentially scale and get the chance to fly to Silicon Valley for the Annual Global Demo Day and participate in a week of extensive pitch training!

This hackathon is inviting all coders, designers, engineeers, data scientists, and SMEs from industry, academia, and government to celebrate Earth Day. A 'Green' software programming and data innovation competition will be held on friday. You will be competing in a teams to develop APIs, mobile/web applications, dashboards and solutions.

Open Data Day DC is a yearly hackathon and training event in Washington, DC on the same day as more than 100 other Open Data Day events throughout the world. Friday, March 4 will be workshops only and Saturday, March 5 will be hacking & workshops. No prior experience with open data or programming is needed, there will be lots of opportunities to learn and participate for everyone. The workshops on Friday and Saturday will cover many aspects of open data, including an introduction, maps, and data science. The hackathon session on Saturday will let participants build prototypes and tools on a diverse range of subjects, from municipal issues here in DC to international development and government accountability.

Join the DC Vision Zero Hackathon together with the District Department of Transportation and Open Gov Hub to work on transportation safety and hack data to eliminate traffic-related deaths in the District by 2024. Together with a team you will be asked to analyze information, exchange ideas, and showcase new data visualizations, apps, GIS analysis and other insights to senior city leadership.

The Apps4Change Demo Breakfast will let developers share their prototypes and apps with experts who can provide useful feedback from direct experiences in the sector.
