Open Data Day DC 2016

Open Data Day DC is a yearly hackathon and training event in Washington, DC on the same day as more than 100 other Open Data Day events throughout the world. Friday, March 4 will be workshops only and Saturday, March 5 will be hacking & workshops. No prior experience with open data or programming is needed, there will be lots of opportunities to learn and participate for everyone. The workshops on Friday and Saturday will cover many aspects of open data, including an introduction, maps, and data science. The hackathon session on Saturday will let participants build prototypes and tools on a diverse range of subjects, from municipal issues here in DC to international development and government accountability.
