We are hosting a mobile-focused hackathon! Come build an iOS or Android app with us! If you've always wanted to go to a hackathon or build a mobile app but didn't know where to start, then this is the perfect event for you. We will provide every meal during the hackathon, that's right FREE FOOD! We'll have an Internet of Things (IoT) workshop prior the event and there will be an Android workshop and Ticketmaster API workshop during the hackathon for those who want to learn how to get started and could use a little guidance. We will also have mentors at the event who can help you get going on your project. We'll have a few iOS specific mentors too, so don't worry if you were looking to do an iOS app and need some guidance. We'll have industry judges and prizes for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams! Additionally, Ticketmaster will have a prize for the best hack using their API! In short: 26 hours, free food and drinks, awesome workshops to prepare for event, and great prizes!  Only USC students can participate.

    This is a 4-hour intensive challenge for Compton's kids to build mobile applications and websites to help their communities. We are seeking sponsors and volunteers for our Coding Camp, a 13-week course designed by the computer coders at Dhat Stone to build new opportunities for the youth in Compton. The program is open for children in Compton and nearby areas from age 6 to 16. Come share ideas and create meaningful opportunities and memories for years to come!
