How will the IoT world of tomorrow look like? We cordially invite you to participate in the closing event of our “IoT // Ethereum // IOTA Summer Camp”, in which 14 IoT prototypes based on Ethereum and IOTA will be presented. The event will take place on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 16:00 to 19:00 with subsequent networking at Tatcraft, a maker space in Frankfurt with tooling and 3D printers - the perfect stage for this occasion. From August 28 to September 1, 2017 the "IoT // Ethereum // IOTA Summer Camp" takes place in Frankfurt (Germany) focusing on connecting Ethereum to real IoT products. It is organized as a 5-day hackathon. We will form 14 teams consisting of IT developers and at least one business developer per team.During the summer camp, we will provide the hardware, such as Raspberry Pi and HiKey hardware sets, sensors, actors, and physical products. Bringing these technologies together we teach the teams how to code and program them — developing Ethereum smart contracts, implementing IOTA, connecting real products and coding a frontend. The teams will develop their prototypes in line with the following challenges:Mobility: smart public transportation and smart freight transportationDigital science and smart sensorsE-mobility and blockchain infrastructure for delivering electricityMore to come...The summer camp is supported by Daimler, Commerzbank, Eciotify, IOTA, Tatcraft, Ventum and the IT magazin “Informatik Aktuell”. It is organized by the Frankfurt School Blockchain Center, the Chair of Strategy and Organization at the Technische Universität München and the blockchain accelerator nexussquared.ORT UND ZEITLocation: Tatcraft, Gwinnerstraße 42, 60388 FrankfurtDate: Fr., 01.09.2017, 16:00 - 19:00 o'clockSpeakers: 14 Teams with prototypes (IoT, Ethereum, IOTA) Registration required; maximum participants: 60AGENDA16:00 - Blockchain Technology: From Ideas to Prototypes to Start-ups(Prof. Dr. Philipp Sandner, Frankfurt School Blockchain Center)16:15 - Presentation of the IoT/Ethereum/IOTA Summer Camp(Daniel Grassinger, nexussquared)16:30 - Pitch presentations of 7 teams17:15 - Break17:30 - The Next Big Thing (t.b.d.)17:45 - Pitch presentations of 7 teams18:30 - Break // Jury meeting18:45 - Nomination of the 3 winning teams // Closing remarks19:00 - NetworkingANMELDUNG UND ORGANISATIONErforderlich mittels EventbriteKONTAKTFrankfurt School Blockchain CenterE-Mail: info@fs-blockchain.deTelefon: +49 69 154 008-790Internet: www.fs-blockchain.deÜBER UNSFrankfurt School Blockchain CenterThe Frankfurt School Blockchain Center is a think tank and research center which investigates implications of the blockchain technology for companies and their business models.
