Description

The aim and goal of this game hackathon is to bring people with various skill-sets together to create a video or mobile game utilizing emerging technologies such as AR & VR that will have an impact on Health! Participants will work together to rapidly prototype game designs and hopefully create inspiring new ideas that contribute to the growth of the games industry.

The participants will collaborate to create an original game inspired by the events theme within a prescribed time no larger than 48 hours. The brief time span is meant to help encourage creative thinking to result in small, but innovative, experimental games.

The event will provide experiential education for technical and non-technical entrepreneurs. Beginning with Friday night pitches and continuing through brainstorming, business plan development, and basic prototype creation, the hackathon will culminate in Sunday afternoon demos and presentations.

All teams will receive talks by industry leaders and receive valuable feedback from local entrepreneurs and mentors. The weekend is centered around action, innovation, and education. Whether you are looking for feedback on an idea, a co-founder, specific skill sets, or a team to help you execute this is the place to be.

Thanks to the able sponsorship of Liquid Telecom and supporting partners: BlackRhino VR, NAICCON and Ludique Works.
