I'm excited to announce a Google Developer Student Club is launching at De Montfort university
What are Developer Student Clubs (DSC)?Developer Student Clubs (DSC) are university-based community groups run by Google Developers for students with an interest in growing as developers. By joining a DSC, students grow their knowledge in a peer-to-peer learning environment and build solutions for local businesses and their community.Program OutlineThe DSC will organize and facilitate workshops/hackathons/study jams in our university to provide students with technical development skills. Interested students get an opportunity to apply their skills for a real-life problem sourced from the local community. In addition, students gain problem-solving skills as they understand and develop a solution using technology.Who can join DSC?Events that will be held by the DSC are open to all interested students from undergraduate and graduate programs. Members of the local public are welcome too.
