Hippo Hacks - GWU Data & Analytics Hackathon

Join us for a 16-hour data science hackathon right on campus! GW DATA, GW ACM, GW GCC & GW IEEE are teaming up with IBM for a full night of hacking, free food, drinks and over $500 in prizes. First 50 signups will receive a free customized water bottle. Coders, designers, stat & data nerds are welcome!

4:30 PM – 4:50 PM: Student Check-In
5:00 PM – 5:30 PM: Opening Remarks
5:35 PM – 5:50 PM: The Problem/Goal for the Hackathon
6:00 PM – 6:30 PM: Workshop: Getting Started on Using Data Science Experience – IBM
6:45 PM – 7:45 PM: Dinner with IBM, forming teams
8:00 PM: Start hacking!
2:00 AM – 3:00 AM: Game Break
7:00 AM: Stop hacking!
7:00 AM – 7:45 AM: Breakfast
8:00 AM – 8:45 AM: Presentation Fair to Judges
8:50 AM – 9:30 AM: Awards
