Description

The California Cybersecurity Institute at Cal Poly, in collaboration with Bugcrowd, Arlo, and Cisco, present to you the Internet of Things Hackathon.

Everyone is connected to the Internet of Things through common devices such as cell phones, vehicles, smart watches, and smart appliances. With more devices connecting daily, everyone is becoming more vulnerable to cyber attacks. Come to the Internet of Things Hackathon to be in-the-know about how the Internet of Things affects your daily life and how to protect yourself from malicious hackers.

Cybercriminals are now exploiting the multiple vulnerabilities of millions and millions of connected devices that comprise the giant network referred to as the “internet of things.”  A Red Team vs. Blue Team exercise will demonstrate how a public network may be attacked through the proverbial “front door.”
