We welcome all current and prospective graduate students and alumni to participate in TU Hack Health Day.Theme – Building Skills for Health Informatics Students: Exploring the Meaningful Use Public Use Files (MUPUF) – You will leverage publicly available data to explore skills in usability and design, data architecture and analysis.You should access beforehand and bring to class: Recent copy of MS Office Excel, register and create a Balsamiq account (note that only one free project is provided). Download the Analysis Add Inn (note Mac users may not have access to this functionality). Download a demo version of Qlik prior to the event.Learning Objectives: Understand simple data analysis techniques. Explore commonly used platforms to assess data elements and database design. Create a wire diagram of a mobile application.Please bring a laptop to use during the event.
