Vibewire's #Hack4DV brings Australia's leading technology, engineering and social impact students, social entrepreneurs and startups together to tackle the challenge of domestic and family violence. Into this mix, we bring:

• Leading experts in the field of domestic abuse
• People with the shared or lived experience of DV
• Local and international leaders seeking to address the myriad challenges that face those dealing with domestic violence.

This is your chance to make a real difference to the lives of real people.

What if I don't have a team?

We will find you a team to join on the night of the 8th or on Saturday morning.

What are the themes? How can I prepare?

We are working with our sponsors and partneres to finalise the themes at present. We will email all participants with a HackPack a week prior to the event. 

What about data?

Our partners, Minerva Collective, will be running a meetup to help you learn about data sets and data science. Registration details TBA. 

Will the event run for the whole weekend?

While you can work the whole weekend, our hackathon venue is only available until Saturday evening and will re-open on Sunday morning. Details will be in the HackPack.
