Writally Blog-Hackathon
Who said hackathons had to be all about geeks cracking out code in a frenzied session fueled by pizza and beer?
Writally is hosting it’s first ever blog-hackathon on June 15th, and we’d love to see you there.
If creating your blog content is a bit like signing up for the gym and never going, Writally wants to help you put the fun back into blog-writing.
How it Works
You register for the event, then we’ll send you a link to do a free Writally blog post recipe request so you can send us your topic idea*.
Tip: if you need help brainstorming topics, join the Writally group on Facebook and ask for input from our 130 members [http://www.facebook.com/groups/writally].
In a Blog-hackathon, you bring your laptop, and together, using your blog post recipe (which will given to you when you arrive), we’ll create and workshop your blog post step-by-step as you write it. At the end of the event, you’ll walk away with a tonne of helpful feedback to help you improve your blog writing and a kick-ass blog post you can publish immediately!
*Please note, best to book by June 14 to ensure we can get your blog post recipe done before the event.
What’s a Blog Post Recipe?
Writally recipes are step-by-step how-to frameworks for your blog posts. At the moment, we create these manually, but with the help of BlueChilli and CCIQ, we’re turning our manual process into a drag and drop, web-based app… kinda like Canva for for content. We’re keen to demonstrate just how effective using blog post recipes is, which is one of the reasons we’re hosting this event… plus we like to have fun, eat food and spend time with you too!
Earlybird Bonus: Be one of the first 10 people to sign up and grab a bonus one-on-one half hour blog brainstorm session with Cas McCullough. (to be used by July 31 and valued at $150)
Bonus: Come along to the event for a free basic one-month membership to Writally (1 post per month). So, not only do you get your free recipe for the event, but we’ll throw in another one that you can use anytime in June.
