Businesses can integrate Holus into their service or processes to enhance customer experiences and increase efficiency. The possibilities are endless!
Agora-BitTiger Mobile RTC Hackathon

This is a hackathon is hosted by Agora partnering with BitTigeron to build creative new applications for cutting-edge real time communication through mobile devices. Agora is developing the next generation of web RTC technology, and is already working with some of the biggest mobile application producers like Xiaomi. Very fast voice and video calls open up new possibilities for collaboration and communication. This is an open-ended challenge, you are free to come up with whatever you want. Examples of user cases could be collaborative e-learning, social applications, dating apps, customer service, telehealth, gaming, etc.
Participants are allowed to begin work on the projects as soon as the official announcement and registration link opens
Participants must incorporate either the iOS or Android SDK and a real-time-communication feature as a core part of the project. Otherwise it is an open challenge. The final coding workshop session, with support from BitTiger teachers, will be on Saturday and final demos will be presented. People are welcome to join even if they cannot attend the final in-person workshop on March 26th. There will be a live stream for remote participants to present their demos.

Data Remix Hackathon (Python + AngularJS + Google App Engine)

This is a hackathon on big data where you will be asked to build projects that remix big amounts of data. Either obtaining the data through APIs or by scraping. The tools that you will be using include the Python programming language and Google App Engine. Creating an application for a few users or millions of users is fundamentally the same in GAE. All participants will be placed in pairs. One member of the team can gather the data while the other can prepare the application itself or one member can prepare the web app while the other prepares the mobile app. Towards the end of the event, each team will present their project and each team votes for another team for best hackathon project. All projects completed at the hackathon will be fully production ready!

One to be taking part in the "from scratch hackaton", where you will have to start with nothing and produce a tangible, working (web)application or visualisation by noon, and the other one to be taking part in the "showcase" where you will prepare ahead, continue to work during the hackathon and pitch your concept, prototype, idea to the jury. You may also attend the afternoon program as a visitor and see what the contestants have come up with.
