JunctionX Barcelona is a 48-hour non-profit hackathon perfect for developers, entrepreneurs, designers and people with creative minds. The JunctionX program was created for local tech communities around the world to have a way to create their own hackathon, and bring developers, designers and all other techies together. The theme of the hackathon is “Decentralized Finance (DeFi) in Emerging Economies”. You will be challenged to design and prototype a DeFi solution that uses the ShuttleOne API, or enhances the MakerDAO product. Your project could address one of the following solution areas -- or one of your own choice: Payments, Lending, Trading, Funding, or Financial Inclusion: Access to Financial instruments. You will have a week to design and build your decentralized app -- beginning with a Virtual Meetup on Saturday, March 21, and ending with the Prize Ceremony via a virtual meetup on Saturday, March 28.
