The 11th annual Spring IT Staff Convention provides a phenomenal opportunity for networking, learning from peers in IT at Penn, seeing what other groups at Penn are doing with IT, and creating connections that last far beyond the convention itself. Students and teachers! Do you have good ideas for school projects but need help putting them into action? Or do you want to gain more clarity and confidence about your future? The Hack Your Education Master Class teaches students and teachers how to think like futurists, strategize like entrepreneurs, and become "thought leaders" in their field of study. The event is an incubator for student ideas to be put into action! In this program students design an Education Strategy to map their research and resources, and develop a timeline for success.

Ladies in technology! Girls in Tech Ecuador invites you to participate in the discussion group "Women of Matilde". This group aims to commemorate Matilde Hidalgo -- the first woman to graduate from a high school in Ecuador, the first woman to vote in an election in Latin America and the first woman to hold elected office in her country. The discussion will focus on creating fair employment opportunities for women working in technology.

The mission of this demo day weekend event is to unite the women of the tech community, giving them a space to meet, innovate, and create together. Bringing more than just awareness of the gender gap in technology by doing something about it. Attendees will be asked to form teams consisting of programmers, designers, testers, and idea people. The teams will build a product idea from scratch using any technology, they will consult with mentors throughout the day to ask questions and get feedback. At the end of the weekend, the teams will demo their product to a panel of judges from the community.

The Stupid Hackathon is organized purely for fun! Your projects will be purely judged by hilarity, uselessness, and fun factor! Work diligently on projects that make no sense at all. Make something we will all regret!

The Crowdfunding Hackathon is inviting all creatives, innovators and entrepreneurs to make their dream project come true. Zoomaal, in partnership with The Mohammed bin Rashid Fund for SMEs (DubaiSME), is organizing this full-day event for sharing its most effective tactics on creating and marketing fundraising campaigns and wants you to be part of it!.

DataMission and the World Food Programme (WFP) are partnering up for a hackathon that will help in the fight against hunger. This event invites all data scientist, developers, non-profit organisations, experts in the hunger issues, marketers, and anyone who is willing to join their skills for a good cause!
