You're invited to participate in the London Ventures Hackathon. You'll be provided with an overview of the issues, challenges, facts and figures such that you understand the problem scale and what needs to be tackled. You'll then be challenged with specific problem statements -- and be expected to develop and pitch your project solution to the panel of judges.

Hackers in and around Glasgow! Want the chance to work at a high growth startup? Your Book List invites you to sign up to participate in the Your Book List hackathon! You'll participate as an individual or as part of a team andn compete for the winning prize, a paid 8-week internship at the Your Book List start-up.

Developers and UX designers of all levels and backgrounds in and around Washington DC! You're invited to participate in the French Embassy Hackathon: Education. You'll be challenged to create solutions to help address the lack of staffing in US schools for French education immersion programs, and also find ways of expanding access to these programs. Following the hackathon, participants will present their projects to Embassy Staff at a reception.

DigitalC, US Ignite, and others invite you to sign up to participate in the Impact Pitch. At this reverse pitch competition, you'll hear pitches from local civic organizations describing their pressing challenges. You'll then chose your challenge and compete in a two round solution development competition for a prize pool of up to $60,000.

Kids in and around the city of Fort Worth! Are you interested in learning to code? Come and sign up for the Learn Code: Kids & Cupcakes code and participate in the Hackathon at the event. All you need to bring is your laptop -- with all its batteries charged to the max!

High school students in the Bay Area! The Berkeley ANova student organization invites you to sign up to participate in ANova Hacks Spring '17. At this 10-hour hackathon on the UC Berkeley campus, you'll collaborate in a team to design and code a project of your choosing! You'll learn about both coding as well as what it's like to be a college student.
