Kids in the San Ramon Valley area -- grades 6 through 12! Are you interested in STEM subjects and would like to learn how to code? You're invited to participate in the Project Encoder Hackathon! It doesn't matter how much you know already -- there are places for beginners, as well as intermediate and advanced level participants. Come as a team of up to 5 people, or join one at the event. You'll be challenged to solve a problem with an app design that blows away the judges. There will be prizes for the top winners in each group (Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced)!

If you're interested in helping the people of Venezuela, then you're invited to participate in Hack for Venezuela NYC. You'll be challenged to design and prototype a mobile technology and/or AI technology solution that can help address critical issues in Venezuela such as high infant mortality, the prevalence of malaria, hyperinflation, and hunger. The goal of the event is to connect the worldwide Venezuelan community, create an accessible database to connect socially-aware engineers in the US for social good to Venezuelan-based organizations and help rebuild the country virtually.

A group of high school students at the Woodside Priory school is hosting a Code for Cognitive Aid: Hackathon/Makeathon -- and invite you to participate!
